Terms and Conditions for Tall Ships Competition
- The promoter of this Competition is Hutchison 3G Ireland Limited, 3rd Floor, One Clarendon Row, Dublin 2 (“Three”).
- To enter the Competition, entrants must be between the ages of 18 and 25 and must like the Three’s Facebook page before Thursday 5th May 2011
- Entry is not open to Three employees or associated company appointed by Three for the purpose of administering or fulfilling this competition and the prize
- The prize is a 10 day sailing experience on a Tall Ship for two people (“the Prize”) from Waterford to Scotland awarded to the winner
- The winners will be drawn randomly from the list of individuals who have entered this competition. The prize is not transferable.
- Three reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equivalent value if the prize is unavailable for reasons beyond its control.
- Cash will not be provided as an alternative.
- Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to Three to use the relevant winner’s names, county addresses and photos for purposes of advertising, promotion or publicity in any media without additional consideration.
- Three’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- 3 reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice. If entrants continue to participate following such revision they will be deemed to agree to the amended terms
- Please note that winners will also be subject to the terms and conditions of the ship as determined by the Captain
- You and your chosen companion must be available for 10 days from 3rd July 2011. These dates are not subject to negotiation.
- Entrants agree that it is a condition of entry that the winner and their companion will be required to perform duties on the Tall Ship, including sailing duties.
- Three is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to the winner or their companion howsoever that loss, damage or injury shall be caused
- The winner agrees that tranportation to Waterford on July 3rd 2011 does not form part of the Prize. Transfers to your home address will be provided at the end of the 10 days.
- The winner and companion will be provided with accommodation and full board on the ship.
- The competition is governed by Irish Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
