Prepay Price Plan.
Prepay Top-up vouchers must be activated within 90 days of purchase.
The following terms and conditions of the Credit with Prepay handsets (the Offer) are in addition to and form part of the terms and conditions of the Hutchison 3G Ireland Limited (“H3G”) terms of service available in the Small print Guide which is available on three.ie. In the event of any conflict the terms and conditions below shall prevail.
The Customer may apply Top-up credit (“credit”) to their Account by means of any of the methods made available by H3G from time to time and may thereafter use Services for a certain fixed period as advised by H3G from time to time. Additional, free or incremental credit may also be applied from time to time. The amount of the credit will reduce as a result of services being used. No Services may be made once all credit has been used (with the exception of Calls to the emergency services).
A minimum level of credit (as specified by H3G from time to time) must be applied to the Customer’s Account at such other intervals as H3G may specify from time to time, failing which no services may be used by the Customer. All unused credit will be carried forward at the time credit is applied to the Customer’s Account provided the minimum required level of credit has been applied to the Customer’s Account at least once during the specified interval.
Any voucher purchased via a top up terminal or through our online top up facility MiPay (“Cash vouchers”) shall be expired if you do not make at least one chargeable outbound service usage in the 180 day period (“the Eligible cash voucher Period”), immediately following your most recent Top up.
Any free voucher credit (including but not limited to initial top-up credit, mobile number portability credit, My3 registration credit and any phased draw down credit) shall expire after 60 days (“the Eligible free voucher Period”). Any registration credit, initial top up credit preloaded on your SIM card or porting credit will be applied to your account immediately. Any phased draw down credit will be applied to your account in 30 days after the purchase of your credit , registration or activation on the H3G network, as appropriate.
Free voucher credit can only be used for domestic services only. Roaming services and Add-ons are excluded.
H3G reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions or withdraw the Credit Offer in whole or in part at any time, for any deemed valid commercial, technical or operational reason.
General.
- Each text / photo /video message can accommodate 160 characters. Some handsets allow for more, these will be divided and sent in numerous messages (depending upon length). Each message will be deducted from your monthly allowance (if any) or charged at standard rates.
- International messaging functions are subject to services arrangements with respective networks abroad. Calls and messages to these numbers are excluded from any inclusive allowance in all price plans.
- You can only use your Prepay mobile phone for internet surfing in 3G coverage areas.
Internet Access
For Prepay customers, we are working on a solution whereby if you verify you are over 18, you will be able to opt-out. We will keep you posted.
€20 Top Up: All You Can Eat Data – Free Weekend Talk – Free Text – Free Three-to-Three Talk Offer
- The following terms and conditions of the All You Can Eat Data, free talk/text and free Three-to-Three call Offer (the “Offer”) are in addition to and form part of the terms and conditions of Three Ireland‘s mobile telecommunications service which are available on www.three.ie. In the event of any conflict the terms and conditions below shall prevail.
- This offer is only available to prepay customers topping up by a minimum of €20 in one go between 5th August 2011 and 31st of Dec 2012.
- Eligible Customers must then top-up by €20 or more, in one go, every 30 days and maintain a positive credit balance to continue to receive the free talk/text/data under the Promotion.
- Three continuously monitors network performance to ensure that the service received by customers is not impacted through a minority of users placing high demand on network resources (e.g. large bandwidths over long periods). Should your data usage exceed 15GB in a 30 day period and your usage affect other network users, we reserve the right to limit your Service.
- The data service is available for use with your Three SIM Card in your Three handset only. Tethering or use of the Three handset as, or the sim in conjunction with, a modem is not allowed and may be disabled.
- This Promotion does not apply when you are roaming outside the Republic of Ireland (ROI) or for international calls or texts and only applies to Short Message Service (SMS) texts. Multimedia Message Service (MMS) messages are expressly excluded from the scope of this Promotion. SMS to landlines must be to normal landline numbers capable of receiving SMS messages, SMS to premium rate or non-standard numbers do not apply.
- A fair usage policy limit of (i) 3,000 weekend minutes and (ii) 3,000 any-time Three to Three minutes applies to the 30 day period succeeding your top up. You will be contacted by Three if your usage exceeds our Fair usage policy. Three reserves the right to charge customers who persist in using the service where such usage has been deemed excessive or to suspend, at its absolute discretion, modify or restrict your use of the service or to disconnect you from the Three network.
- For the purposes of this Offer weekends start at 12.01AM Saturday and end at 12.01AM Monday and your free weekend calls must take place within this period.
- A fair usage policy limit of 3,000 texts for the 30 day period succeeding your top up applies to the free text offer. You will be contacted by Three if your usage exceeds our Fair usage policy. Three reserves the right to charge customers who persist in using the service where such usage has been deemed excessive or to suspend, at its absolute discretion, modify or restrict your use of the service or to disconnect you from the Three network.
- It is a condition of availing of pre-pay services on a SIM-only basis that you purchase €5.00 or greater value on the SIM at the time of purchase. Except where you purchase €20.00 top-up, this initial top-up is in addition to the required €20.00 top-up require to avail of the Offer.
- Your credit amount will be used in the following order;
- Any unlimited talk, text or internet allowances which you receive as a result of topping up by €20 or more in one go
- The cash credit applied to your SIM in the denomination in which you topped up, e.g. €20
- Any promotional credits applied to your SIM such as extra credit for topping up e.g. porting credit
- This Extra Credit Service is available only to eligible pre-paid subscribers to the 3 network (“Prepay Customers”) and who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Customers must have topped up their mobile phone account within the last three months.
- Customers must have either made or received a call within the last three months.
- If you port to 3 and bring your existing mobile number to 3 you will receive €5 credit (this Free Porting Credit has a 60-day expiry period)
- Provided you top-up by at least €20 within each 30 day period, we will apply €5 Free Credit on the 30th day, 60th day, 90th day, 120th day, 150th day, 180th day, 210th day, 240th day, 270th and 300th day since you became a 3 customer (this Free Top-Up Additional Credit has a 60-day expiry period). This is applicable from 1st October 2011. Free Top-Up Additional Credit is not available to customers on the Classic Prepay Price Plan.
- The maximum extra credit you will receive for topping up is €50. 300 days after you sign up to Prepay you will no longer be eligible to receive additional top-up extra credit.
- This Service and its constituent provisions are restricted to personal use only. Three reserves the right to withdraw or terminate the Service without notice, in the event that Three believes that same is being used, or has been used, for commercial purposes, for example the use of a gateway.
- Except as expressly provided in these terms and conditions, all conditions, terms, warranties and representations whether express or implied by law in relation to the provision of the Offer are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law.
- Three reserves the right to withdraw the Offer generally or from any particular Customer at any time and to vary or amend any element of this service at any time without further notice. These terms and conditions may be varied or amended by Three for any valid commercial, technical or operational reason. “
Prepay Broadband.
- The Prepay Broadband SIM card can also be used in a Three mobile to make calls.
- Prepay Broadband can be used where Three has HSDPA coverage – currently covering 95% of Republic of Ireland population.
- The €5 free credit doesn’t apply to Prepay Mobile Broadband.
- If you have enabled the “out of bundle usage” on your account and you exceed the relevant daily, weekly or monthly allowance, your excess usage will be charged out of any available top-up credit.
Prepay Add-ons.
- Prepay Add-ons must be used within thirty (30) days of purchase.
