Roaming rates across the EU are being aligned. This means new, improved rates. From the 1st July 2011, roaming rates throughout the EU have been capped at 42.69c for making calls within the EU and back to Ireland, 13.21c to receive a call within the EU from anywhere in the world and 13.21c to send an SMS within the EU and back to Ireland.

From 16th March 2010, Three Ireland customers will have an automatic €50(excluding VAT) i.e. €61.50 (including VAT) limit on data usage, but Three Ireland customers can change this limit to a different amount by contacting Three Customer Care. This is to prevent you getting an unexpected bill from using data whilst abroad. To help you manage this, we will send you an SMS notification when you have used 80% of your allowance and a second notification when you have used 95%.
