Bill Pay Price Plans.

  • All Bill Pay price plans from Three are subject to a minimum term contract, determined at point of purchase.
  • For Relax plan customers each Flexi-unit equals 1 voice minute, or 3 text messages, or 1 Mb of data. For customers on a Flex plan each Flexi-unit equals 1 voice minute, or 2 text messages or 500 KB of data. Flexi unit voice calls apply to voice calls made within the Republic of Ireland to other standard Republic of Ireland mobiles and landlines. Flexi unit voice calls also apply to video calls made to other Three Users within the Republic of Ireland. Flexi unit texts apply to texts made within Republic of Ireland to Republic of Ireland mobile numbers only. Premium rate numbers and other ‘special numbers’ such as directory enquiries and non-geographic numbers (see the Price Guide for details) are excluded from your Flexi-unit monthly allowance. Flexi unit data usage relates to usage within the Three’s 3G coverage area in the Republic of Ireland only.
  • You may use up to 50% of your Flexi-unit voice minutes to make voice calls to the United Kingdom from the Republic of Ireland. All other usage, i.e. (i) when calling from Republic of Ireland to outside of Republic of Ireland, or, (ii) making calls when outside Republic of Ireland (including calls to Republic of Ireland), or (iii), receiving calls when outside Republic of Ireland, are charged at out of allowance rates.
  • You may use your Flexi-unit voice and video minutes to call home when you are roaming on other selected Three networks abroad (3 Like Home) (see the Price Guide for examples).
  • Unused Flexi-units within the Bill Pay price plans and unused Add-ons etc do not carry over from month to month. Therefore, if you only use 80 of your 90 Flexi-units, the remaining 10 Flexi-units will not rollover to the following month. After your monthly allowance is used up, prices for additional use are shown in our service prices table (see the Price Guide for details)
  • All calls within Republic of Ireland are charged per second, unless otherwise stated.
  • Free Three to Three usage applies within the Republic of Ireland only, and where under your Price Plan, Three to Three is uncapped, it is subject to fair usage policy of 3000 minutes per month. Free Three to Three excludes voicemail accessed by dialling 083 333 3171.

 

Mobile Broadband Price Plans

Mobile Broadband 15GB can be used on Three’s network of Three Ireland and other participating 3 like Home networks.

Add-Ons

  • Add-ons have no minimum term and can be cancelled and renewed at any time. Chargeable Bill Pay Add-ons must be used within the period from the date of purchase until the end of the then current billing cycle. Pay Monthly Add-ons automatically renew each subsequent monthly billing cycle unless you cancel the Add on. Promotional Add-ons may have a different expiry period – e.g. Talk and Text Add-on expires after 7 days.
  • The use of free or chargeable Add-ons is unavailable while you are roaming abroad with the exception of the EU Roaming Add-on and Mobile Broadband Add-ons. Mobile Broadband Add-ons are available on selected 3 Like Home networks abroad.
  • There is no monthly rental charge for the EU Roaming Add-on.
  • New and upgrading customers signing up to Super Flex, Mega Flex, Super Flex-Max, Mega-Flex Max and Ultimate Flex Max after 1st January 2012 are entitled to receive one promotional Add-on free for the duration of their Minimum Term.
  • New customers signing up to any plan after 1st January 2012 other than those listed at 4 above are not entitled to any free Add-on for any period of time including but not necessarily limited to Mini Flex, Classic Flex, Mini Flex Max and Classic Flex Max.
  • Existing Three customers on Classic Flex, Super Flex, Mega Flex, Classic Flex Max, Super Flex Max and Mega Flex Max and new customers signing up to Classic Flex, Super Flex, Mega Flex, Classic Flex Max, Super Flex Max and Mega Flex Max before 31st December 2011 will receive one promotional Add-on free until 02.04.2012. The Add-on will cease on 2nd April 2012.
  • Mobile Surfing Add-on– For 3 Pay and Pay Monthly, for a fixed price each month you can get a 1 GB allowance to enable you to surf the internet on your mobile. For Pay Monthly, if you go over the included allowance, on X-Series or Mobile Surfing Add-on, your usage will be charged out of your available Flexi-units and then at the applicable out of bundle rate for your plan. Mobile Surfing Add-on and X Series Gold Add-on may only be used to surf the internet on your mobile. X-Series is not available for 3Pay customers.
  • Mobile Broadband Add-on – For Pay Monthly, for a fixed price each month you can get a 10 GB allowance to enable you to use your mobile as a modem so you can surf the internet on your PC as well as on your mobile. For Pay Monthly Mobile Broadband Add-on users, if you go over the included allowance, your usage will be charged out of your available Flexi-units and then at the applicable out of bundle rate for your plan.
  • There is no limit to the number of unique Add-ons which a customer may purchase. Customers cannot however purchase or avail of two or more of the same Add-ons in the same month.
  • The Internet Max Add-on is not available for selection as your free promotional Add-on if you have selected Mini Flex, Classic Flex, Super Flex or Mega Flex
  • Call Europe. Calls to following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden.
  • Call North America. Calls to following countries: USA, Canada.
  • Call Down Under. Calls to following countries: Australia, China, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand

Internet Access

Three currently filters sites of an adult nature, Billpay and Best of Both customers can opt-out of filtering by calling 1913.

 

Fair Use Policies

Some Three services are subject to our fair use policy. To make sure no one abuses this freedom, we have set monthly limits of:

  • Free Email and selected Online content – maximum 20Mb per month
  • Windows Live Messenger: 6,000 instant messages
  • Skype: 5,000 Skype minutes and 10,000 Skype chat messages.
  • X-Series Gold: 5,000 Skype to Skype minutes,
  • 2GB Data 100 hours Slingbox & / or Orb Access
  • Best of Both – 3,000 text messages
  • Three to Three calls – 3,000 minutes

If you exceed these limits, we may ask you to moderate your usage. If you continue to exceed these limits, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your service in accordance with the Terms for Three Services.

 

General

  • Each text / photo /video message can accommodate 160 characters. Some handsets allow for more, these will be divided and sent in numerous messages (depending upon length). Each message will be deducted from your monthly allowance (if any) or charged at standard rates.
  • International messaging functions are subject to services arrangements with respective networks abroad. Calls and messages to these numbers are excluded from any inclusive allowance in all price plans.
  • Non-recurring payment: Three’s preferred method of payment is by recurring Direct Debit. Recurring payments have no additional charge.
  • Reconnection charge: If we have to suspend or disconnect you from the Three network, we reserve the right to charge you for reconnecting your handset.
  • Cancellation fee: Bill Pay customers only – there is no cancellation fee if you wish to cancel after your Minimum Term has finished. All reference to Ireland means Republic of Ireland.
